I had the pleasure of meeting Nick when we worked together at the Six Apart office in San Francisco. Nick’s smarts and talents really shined through. When Nick brought Chenin over to our office, I instantly liked her — she’s so warm, intelligent, and you could just tell that she’s a great woman. They’re both so lucky to have each other! I was so happy when they chose us as their wedding photographers. A photographer as well, Nick definitely knows the ins and outs of good photography.
Because he’s finishing up his MBA, Nick and Chenin currently live in NYC, and I just happened to be there in December. We got together for an incredibly fun yet chilly (25 degrees) engagement session in Soho, Times Square, and finished off in the always gorgeous Central Park. Chenin and Nick were true troopers for dealing with the cold weather, and I had such a great time getting to know them. Of course, that’s really the point of an engagement session, so that I can get to know a couple and also so that they can feel comfortable with me on their wedding day.
I’m looking forward to their wedding in June!

Lovely photos! I love the urban background of subways and graffiti. And I especially like the one where her hair is flying out. :)
Nice lots of movement in your work.
