Get ready for cute overload! This is an authentic farm wedding complete with baby goats! The bride and groom, Lynda and Emmett, are young farmers who were married on their own organic farm in Healdsburg. You may remember them from their fantastic farm engagement session.
The theme for this vegetarian, DIY, green affair was “The Farm”, and the table decorations were farm tools and organic vegetables such as asparagus, artichokes, squash, olive branches, as well as eggs grown from their own farm, Foggy River Farm. They even have a blog all about their life on the farm, and Lynda’s first book is going to be released very soon.
During the ceremony, Lynda and Emmett planted two trees to commemorate their wedding. Every time they look at those trees, they can look back and remember their wedding day.The reception was held outdoors, and the dancing was held in the barn, complete with a caller and square dancing. The wedding party entered the ceremony by wagon drawn by a team of clydesdale horses. Instead of a cake or cupcakes, the couple chose to have strawberry galettes from a local bakery. A friend shot polaroids and the guests were invited to decorate a scrapbook with messages and their photos. Congrats to Lynda and Emmett!
