Elly and Slava asked me to photograph their engagement session a few months back. Elly lives in NYC, while Slava lives here in the Bay Area. It was really important for Elly that we go to many landmark San Francisco locations like Sutro Heights Park, Sutro Baths, the Palace of Fine Arts and Crissy Field. Elly and Slava have a very playful relationship, and we spent lots of time laughing together and having fun. Many thanks to Elly and Slava!

And now for Part II of Lisa Marie and Richard’s San Francisco City Hall wedding! Someone remarked that they looked like movie stars, and I have to agree!
Following their ceremony, Lisa Marie and Richard wanted the classic Golden Gate Bridge and the Palace of Fine Arts for the rest of their session. They decided to change into a different set of clothes that were a bit more casual, but still a great reflection of their amazing style.
The weather in SF is unpredictable, but I love the bridge the best when it’s draped in fog. It was a bit chilly, but that didn’t deter Lisa Marie and Richard from having fun, which I think they always do together!

Lisa Marie and Richard traveled from Southern California for their sweet, intimate wedding at San Francisco City Hall. Their session was so epic that it warranted three posts! Lisa Marie and Richard were married on one of the luckiest days of the year, 08/09/10. Lisa Marie is the owner of Orange & Blossom, which she describes as “the first of its kind: a highly edited shop curated to appeal to modern couples seeking something beautiful, different, real.”
The idea of eloping with your honey is such a romantic notion, and I would have to describe Lisa Marie and Richard’s elopement just the way she describes Orange & Blossom — something beautiful, different, and real. Although their clothing was so elegant, timeless, and classic, Lisa Marie and Richard were so laid back and easy going, a true pleasure to be around. I actually get a little boost from being around people who are so in love and I just love the way these two look at each other.
